The Art of Connection

The Art of Connection

On your journey through this life, you sometimes feel alone and long for connection, when you are very young it is with your parents, when you are a little older, it’s with your siblings and friends and when you go through puberty, you long for romantic connection or at least begin to consider it. When you are a little older you long to find your people, you know the one that get you and that you get.

Knowing who to connect to and when is intuitive and an art that you learn to master as we experience life. Learning to connect with love, empathy and compassion that is the art of connection that fosters a strong foundation where relationships can grow and flourish.

We often talk about finding our people, you know, those individuals that feel like home that allow you to be you and where you can drop all the masks and pretenses. I have found those people, only to find out that they have always known me and have been waiting for me to wake up and make this connection. They’ve always been there for me, even if I thought they weren’t. Now, I feel at home and I don’t have to search and wonder any more.
